Peace be upon you, O generous of Ahlulbayt!  His birthday (AS)
He (AS) was born in the Middle of Ramadan, 3H, stated by Ibn Sa'ad, Ibn Albraqi and others. Some said in Sha'ban , some said 4H and 5H, but the first one is stronger (1).
The middle of the month of Ramadan was the birthday of Hasan bin Ali (AS) which is 3H (2).In Ershad Almofeid (Page 191): He was born in medina in the night of the middle of Ramadan, 3H.

The ceremony of his blissful birthday
Alhafeth written, Sauda bint Sarj said: I was amongst whom attended with Fatima when time of labor. Then Messenger of Allah (SAWA) came and said: o my daughter! May I become her sacrifice! We said: she is straining. He said: when she give the birth, do not do anything until I give you permission. She said: when she gave the birth I cut the umbilical cord and wrapped him with yellow cloth then messenger of Allah came and said: How is my daughter? may I become her sacrifice! And how is she doing? I said: O messenger of Allah! She gave birth to a boy… and I told him what I did. He said; you disobeyed me! I said: I seek refuse from disobedience of Allah and messenger of Allah! I cut the umbilical cord, and I have had to do it! He said: "Bring him to me". I brought him to him. He throw the yellow cloth away and wrapped him with white cloth, he spit in his mouth, feed him from his tongue (breastfeeding from his tongue), then he said: " bring me Ali" then I called him. He (SAWA) said: "O Ali! What did you name him?" He said: I named him Ja'far. He SAWA said: "No, he is Hasan, and after him Hussain. You, O Ali, Abu-Al-Hasan and Al-Hussain.(3)"

The prophet (SAWA) receiving to him after his birthday
Um Aiman said: "I saw Messenger of Allah did Athan for prayers in the ear of Al-Hasan bin Ali when Fatima gave a birth(4)"
Imam Ali (AS) said: When I attended Fatima when she was giving birth, the prophet (SAWA) said to Asma bint Omais and Um Salma:" Attend her! And if her son came out and started to scream then do Athan (call for prayers) in his right ear and do Eqama (announcing the beginning prayers) in his left ear. No one do that to others like him (babies like Al-Hasan AS) unless he was protected from Satan" When the seventh day arrived , the prophet (SAWA) named Hasan.

 Breastfeeding him (AS)
Um Alfathel said: I dreamed like if there was a part of the messenger of Allah (SAWA) was in my house. She said: then I was scared of that, and I went to Messenger of Allah (SAWA) and told him about it. He say:" It's good! Fatima will give a birth of a boy and you will guaranty him with the milk of your son Qutham". She said: then she gave the birth to Hasan, and I breastfeed him until he started to move (walk) then I weaned him."

 Naming him (AS)
Narrations were differed in about the process of naming him (AS) and who did it, but the most correct narration is the following:
His mother Fatima (AS) brought him to the prophet (SAWA) on his seventh day in a cloth made from the silk of heaven which Gabriel brought it down to the prophet SAWA , then he named him Hasan and sacrificed a ram on his behalf (5).

Alnasfei said: When Fatima gave the birth of Hasan, the prophet (SAWA) said to Ali (AS) "name him!" He (AS) said: No one name him except his grandfather. Then the prophet (SAWA) said: I would not precede my god. Then Gabriel came and said: O Mohamed! Allah congratulate you for this birth and telling you to name him after the name of the son of Haroon (Shobbar), which means Hasan. When Hussain (AS) was born he said:: O Mohamed! Allah congratulate you for this birth and telling you to name him after the name of the son of Haroon (Shobbair), which means Hussain (6).
Aqeil said: Ali has called his elder son after the name of his ankle Hamza, and named Hussain after his ankle Ja'far. Then Messenger of Allah (SAWA) called Ali (AS) and said: "I was ordered to change the names of those two". He (AS) said: " Allah and His messenger know better!" then he named them Hasan and Hussain (7).

His Aqiqa (sacrificed animal) and cutting his hair
Narrated from Ali AS: Messenger of Allah (SAWA) did Aqiqa on behalf of Al-Hasan with a ram, and said:" O Fatima! Cut his hair and give alms of silver, equals the weight of his hair." She weighed it and it was two, and a few Dirhams.
Messenger of Allah sacrificed Aqiqa for him on his seventh day, cut his hair and ordered to give alms of silver, equals the weight of his hair(8).
Mohamed bin Ali (AS) said: Fatima, daughter of Mohamed (SAWA) weighed the hair of Hasan, Hussain, Zainab and Um-Kulthom, then gave alms of silver equals to the weight of it (hair) (9).

Abu-Rafe' said: When Fatima gave the birth to Hasan, she said: "Shouldn't I sacrifice my son with blood?" He (SAWA )said: "No! Rather cut his hair and give alms of silver to the needy equals the weight of his hair…and she did it.(10) "
Messenger of Allah sacrificed Aqiqa on his behalf (AS) on his seventh day and cut his hair, and ordered to give Alms of silver equals to his hair weight, and he is the fourth of the garment owners.

The prophet (SAWA) amulets Hasan and Hussain (AS)
Ibn 'Abas said: messenger of Allah (SAWA) used to amulet Hasan and Hussain saying:" I amulet you by the perfect words of Allah from the evil of every Satan , disaster , and from the eyes of evil". And saying: "That’s how Ibrahim amulet Isaac and Ishmael (11)."
Also, other narrated that Messenger of Allah (SAWA) used to amulet Hasan and Hussain with these words " I amulet you by the perfect words of Allah from the evil of every Satan , disaster (12)".

His similarity to the prophet (SAWA)
Ali (AS) said: "Hasan looks like messenger of Allah from his chest to his head, and Hussain looks like messenger of Allah from bellow that (13)."

Pears of his wisdom and maxims
1. Don't be too prompt in punishing wrongdoings and errors; always leave some time for apology between the perpetration of a mistake and punishment.
2. Joking erases the prestige, he gets more prestige he who is silent.
3. The good chance is gone fast, and slow to get back.
